About Ocean Fundamentals
Growing up in the coastal regions of Nigeria, we always thought of having an enabling waterway that will attract and boost socio-economic activities. Having visited a number of countries and taking particular interest in their waterways, we decided to bring the same level of initiatives
back home. Our clean-up exercise will begin with the removal of water hyacinth from the waterways of the country. Our second phase will be the introduction of the organic fertilizer factory to be situated in communities affected.
Aquatic plants recovered from the waterways will be converted into both liquid and solid organic fertilizer. The fertilizer produced can be used in arid regions, something that most chemical fertilizer are not suitable for.
The fertilizer will have the effect of turning sand dunes into vegetation sites and plants/crops grown from water hyacinth-based fertilizer are kept evergreen throughout the year. This is as has been seen, tested and perfected over the years in southern Africa and Australia, to mention a few.

Research And Development
We are currently carrying out a Baseline Study under the recommendation of the Federal Ministry of Environment and acceptance by the Delta State Ministry of Environment. To build an organic fertilizer processing plant, which is highly technical, the team must be hands on in the research and developmental process.
Samples of water hyacinth has been collected and analysed by a federal government accredited laboratory. This is to achieve accuracy in reports. Samples and results from the laboratory have been couriered overseas to our technical partners. They are to be analysed to ensure that standard practices are adhered to meet world standard before production samples.
